Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 July 2026
Suasor turns a minute of talking into content in your voice. That means we handle your recordings, the words in them, and access to the accounts you choose to connect. Here is exactly what happens to each.
Who we are
Suasor (“we”, “us”) is an independent product, operated from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. For privacy questions, data requests, or anything in this policy, contact privacy@suasor.app.
What we collect
- Account details — your email, and your name and profile basics if you sign in with Google. Used to create and secure your account.
- Your voice recordings — captured only while you record. Streamed to our transcription provider and discarded immediately after the text comes back (see below).
- Your content (“your brain”) — the transcribed text, the notes and connections we derive from it, your drafts, edits, and any rules you set. This is the substance of the service and is retained until you delete it.
- Connected accounts — when you connect LinkedIn, X, or Bluesky, we store the access tokens needed to post on your behalf, scoped to what you approve.
- Usage & device data — basic product analytics (pages, actions, errors) to operate and improve Suasor.
Your audio is never stored
When you record, the audio is streamed to our transcription provider, turned into text, and then discarded. We do not keep the audio file, and it is never used to train any model. The words become part of your brain; the recording does not persist.
We never train AI on your content
Your content is yours alone. It is used only to generate drafts and learn your voice for you. It is never used to train our models or any provider’s models, never pooled with other users’ data, and never sold. Where we send text to AI providers to generate your drafts, we use their API tiers that do not train on submitted data.
How we use your data
- To transcribe your recordings and build your knowledge brain.
- To generate drafts in your voice and learn your style over time.
- To publish posts you approve, via official platform APIs.
- To operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
Who processes your data
We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers (“ subprocessors”) to run Suasor. Each receives only the data needed for its role.
| Provider | Role | Data it touches |
|---|---|---|
| Convex | Application database & backend | Account, brain content, drafts, tokens |
| Anthropic (Claude) | Draft generation & voice learning | Your transcribed text (no-training API tier) |
| Deepgram | Speech-to-text transcription | Audio stream (not stored), returned text |
| Voyage AI | Text embeddings (brain retrieval) | Your transcribed text |
| Vercel | Website & app hosting | Request/network data |
| PostHog | Product analytics | Usage events, device/basic data |
| Google / LinkedIn / X | Sign-in & posting (OAuth) | Auth identity, posting tokens |
| Stripe | Payments & subscriptions | Billing details (handled by Stripe) |
Publishing to your accounts
We post only through each platform’s official API, and only what you have approved. We do not scrape, use browser extensions, or store your platform passwords. You can disconnect any account at any time, which revokes our access.
Retention & deletion
We keep your brain and account data while your account is active. You can delete individual content, or ask us to delete your entire brain and account, at which point it is removed from our systems (backups age out on a rolling basis). Cancelling is one click. To request deletion, email privacy@suasor.app.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR/UK GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Exercise any of these by emailing privacy@suasor.app. We don’t sell your personal data.
Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and privacy-respecting product analytics (PostHog) to understand how Suasor is used. We don’t run third-party advertising trackers.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
